TRIM

TRIM is Hewlett Packard's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).

Widely used throughout Federal, State and Local government in addition to private enterprise, it empowers organisations to control both electronic and paper records.  Users can access TRIM through a variety of means including client and web based solutions. 

TRIM can be a key enabler in establishing a Single Source environment where documents can be tightly controlled by users and deployed to a variety of end uses.

There are a wide range of modules that can be purchased in addition to the base EDRMS functionality.  Notable modules include:

• Workflow
• Document Assembly
• Meeting Manager
• Redactions/Rendering
• Web Content Management (WCM)
• Web interfaces including WebDrawer and TRIM ICE
• TRIM Sharepoint Integration (TCSI)

TRIM is also tightly integrated to the desktop using the ODMA standard.  Users can interact with TRIM using a familiar and comfortable set of tools such as MS Word® and MS Excel® while exposing TRIMs functionality.
