Content ETL
Content ETL is the mechanism to handle the complex content transfers that charaterise business processes. This makes Content ETL a quick enabler for:
- Document transfers between corporate repositories
- Inter-enterprise document sharing
- Content migrations
- Transfer of documents to and from cloud repositories
The document transfers are enabled by a link from the source application to the target application. This link is called a content bridge. When transferring documents, the content bridge is activated and moves the documents to the destination.
Content ETL is used to design, debug and execute the bridges. When working in conjunction with Content Hub, the bridges can be published in the EntropySoft Content Hub, so that anyone, even with no technical skills, can manage and do the transfers. Thus, Content ETL is the bridge factory, while Content Hub maintains the bridges and delivers an easy way for users to manage the transfers.
